1. Overview
Pulse (we, us, or the app) is operated by Bears Territory LLC (the operator or the publisher). It is an educational derivatives intelligence platform that tracks implied volatility, skew, gamma, and macro regime shifts across futures options markets. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Pulse is an educational tool. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice.
2. Account Information
When you create an account, we collect email address, full name as provided during sign-up, and role such as admin or user. This information is used to authenticate you, manage your session, and display your activity within the app.
3. Market Data & Observations
The app fetches and stores market data observations including prices, IV, skew, gamma, and related metrics from third-party data sources. This data is sourced from external APIs and your connected data feeds, stored as historical observations for charting and analysis, and used to generate educational predictions and regime analysis. We do not store your personal trading account credentials or brokerage login information.
4. SMS & Alert Notifications
If you enable SMS alerts, we use a third-party provider, Twilio, to send text notifications to the phone number you provide. Standard messaging rates may apply. You can disable alerts at any time within the app.
5. Usage Data
We may collect anonymized usage analytics such as page views and feature usage to improve the app’s functionality and user experience. This data is not linked to your personal identity.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Market observations and predictions you create may be visible to other users of the app, such as on public scoreboards or prediction feeds, based on your sharing preferences.
7. Data Retention
Market observation data and prediction records are retained indefinitely for historical analysis. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account by contacting support.
8. Third-Party Services
The app integrates with Twilio for SMS notification delivery and external market data APIs for fetching option chain and volatility data. Each service has its own privacy policy governing your data.
9. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including authenticated access controls and role-based permissions. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your account and associated data, and opt out of SMS notifications at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact Bears Territory LLC through the app’s support channels.
